Thank you very much. This is a photo I downloaded of Tumblr a long while ago and have used it as a desktop background for months. Just thought I’d share it with you since my blog has been a little quiet. For those looking to entertain a small group or host a wine and cheese night, try these combinations:
- Soft blue cheese, cold pears stewed in honey and cinnamon and some thin prosciutto. 
- Shaved Manchego, spicy salami or chorizo and sweet grapes. 
- Talleggio with truffle honey and duck prosciutto or a pork productDon’t be afraid to try all sorts of wild combinations. For rich creamy cheeses, a tart flavour is needed to balance the richness. Brulee fruits, use preserves, jams, compotes, syrups and flavoured honeys.
